TUGBRASIL APOIO PORTUÁRIO S / A, aligned to international best practices and within the context of corporate social responsibility based on SA 8000, is including in its policy the commitment to conduct its activities in accordance with the requirements for Social Responsibility.
- CHILD LABOR
The company does not get involved in nor supports the usage of child labor (under 16). - FORCED LABOR
The company does not get involved nor supports the usage of forced labor, or asks employees to make "deposits" or leave identity papers when they start working to the company. The company retains only copies of documents required in the contracting phase, which are available when needed. - HEALTH AND SAFETY
The company provides a safe and healthy working environment and takes appropriate measures to prevent accidents and injury to health, also provides training on safety and health. The company provides for all staff clean bathrooms and access to drinking water. - FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION AND THE RIGHT TO COLLECTIVE BARGAINING
The company respects the right of all employees to form and join trade unions and bargain collectively, ensuring no reprisals. - DISCRIMINATION
The company shies away from any attitude of discrimination by race, social class, nationality, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, union or political association. The company does not allow sexually coercive behavior, threatening, abusive or exploitative. - DISCIPLINARY PRACTICES
The company shies away from using corporal punishment, psychological coercion, physical or verbal abuse against workers. - COMPENSATION AND WORKING HOURS
The company asserts that wages paid accord to the local minimum standards giving the basic needs to workers and complying with all applicable laws regarding working hours. - MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The company ensures that the policy of social responsibility is documented, implemented, maintained, communicated, accessible and available to the entire workforce. The company appoints a representative of top management to monitor, reviews of requirements and continuous improvement.
